A delegation from the Islamic University’s Faculty of Pharmacy in Najaf recently visited the National Centre for Pharmaceutical Control and Research. The newly opened centre, inaugurated by the Prime Minister on his visit to the Al-Najaf Governorate on May 23rd, 2024, aims to strengthen Iraq’s pharmaceutical industry. The faculty representatives congratulated Director Alaa Al-Asadi and explored potential research collaborations between the university and the centre. The visit included discussions about facilitating scientific visits for students to the centre. These visits would allow students to observe medicine laboratory testing procedures and gain valuable insights into the centre’s operations and the expertise available there.
