Iraqi Consul in Kenya Visits Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf

Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, President of the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf, received the Iraqi Consul at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Nairobi, Republic of Kenya, Dr. Muhammad Hussein Abu Saibei. Several topics were discussed between the President of the University and the guest, including facilitating the affairs of African students studying in Iraq.
Additionally, the Consul went to the Faculty of Islamic Sciences Deanship and conversed with its Dean, Professor Dr. Hadi Al-Tamimi. During the visit, efforts were discussed to overcome the difficulties and obstacles for citizens of African countries and facilitate their entry into Iraq, especially into Najaf Al-Ashraf, since Najaf Al-Ashraf is considered to be the largest religious scientific source for the sciences of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), as well as a tributary of academic education for Islamic scholars.
The consul also met with a group of African students accepted into the Islamic University within the “Study in Iraq” program launched by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research last year.
It’s worth mentioning that Dr. Muhammad Abu Saibei was one of the first graduates of the Islamic University, which is a source of pride for the Islamic University.
