Islamic University students took part in the Fourth University Theatre Festival, which took place from March 3–6, 2024, at the University of Babylon and Future University, under the theme “Art and Creativity Bring Us Together.” The festival featured participation from numerous public and private universities, and our students, under the direction of Mr. Mahdi Abu Kalal, Amir Watut, and nine other students from various colleges, presented the play (Awj al-Samar). Out of all the universities, the Islamic University ranked first among private and eighth among public and private.
We commend our university on this accomplishment and offer our gratitude to the university president for his support and interest in helping our students participate in university-level student activities at the level of Iraqi universities as well as at the university level with its three branches, the Islamic Universities of Najaf, Babylon, and Al-Qadisiyah.
