The Holy Qur’an House at the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine, in collaboration with the University of Karbala, hosted the seventh divisional Qur’an competition for Iraqi university students from March 4-6, 2024. The delegation from the Islamic University of Najaf, led by Mr. Mohsen Rasul Al-Saffar, Director of the Holy Qur’an Division, took part in the competition.
Muhammad Adnan, Muhammad Talib, Ahmed Nasr al-Din, and Muhammad Talib represented the Islamic University team in the competition.
His Eminence Sheikh Khairuddin Ali Al-Hadi, the head of the Holy Qur’an House at the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine, presented the participating delegation with awards at the competition’s completion. Following their meeting, the attending delegations were welcomed by His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, the legitimate guardian of the Holy Shrine of Hussein, who wished them luck in serving Ahl Al-Beit and the Holy Qur’an.
