The fourth meeting of the Islamic University was held at the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf on February 21, 2024. A wide range of scientific, administrative, and student topics were discussed during the meeting. His Eminence Hujjat al-Islam, Sayyed Sadr al-Din al-Qabbanji, founder of the Islamic University, attended the meeting. As a result of their distinguished efforts, the Founder expressed gratitude to all members of the Council for their contribution to advancing the Islamic University and achieving the highest ranks in various areas.
Among its decisions, the Council also approved the creation of a new group of departments at the Islamic University of Najaf and its branches in Babylon Governorate and Al-Qadisiyah Governorate, as well as making changes to the university’s financial regulations that will help recruit academically qualified teaching staff. It also approved the Islamic University’s plan for scientific research, its plans for community service, and a renewal of the university’s vision and goals after over two decades. The Council also discussed other important topics related to multiple aspects of the Islamic University.
