The students of the third stage, the evening study, in the Department of Qur’anic and Linguistic Studies, and under the supervision of the Holy Qur’an Division at the Islamic University of Najaf, held the second annual celebration on the occasion of the anniversary of the blessed births of Shaban on Sunday, February 18, 2024, in the university courtyard in the presence of the Head of the Department of Qur’anic and Linguistic Studies, Professor Dr. Hakim Al-Kuraiti, the Director of the Holy Qur’an Division, Mr. Mohsen Al-Saffar, and a number of university professors.
The ceremony opened with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and a speech by the department head. It also included poetic passages about love and loyalty to the family of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace).
Since the Islamic University in Najaf al-Ashraf represents heritage rich in values and teachings, commemorating the events of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him) is among its interests and priorities.
