The Islamic University delegation took part in the International Cultural Forum for Eloquent Poetry, which took place from February 11–14, 2019, at the University of Baghdad. Fifty-five Iraqi public and private universities, along with six Arab universities, attended the forum. The Islamic University ranked fifth in the forum with a delegation consisting of assistant lecturer Hasna Sadr al-Din al-Qabbanji, head of the delegation, Abdul Hadi Faleh Mahdi al-Muzaffar from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Department of Qur’anic Studies, and Saif al-Islam Ali Saud al-Zirjawi from the Faculty of Dentistry. The rankings of the first and second poets are combined to determine the ranking, and the university with the least points is considered the best.
