Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, the president of the Islamic University, met with the editorial boards of the recently established scientific journals associated with the university. These journals are managed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and were contracted through the Al-Safir International Foundation. These periodicals will probably end up in the famous Scopus repository after they are released. The attendees discussed setting the final points for the process of officially launching these journals on the Al-Safir platform, noting that the Islamic University has three other local scientific journals accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, namely the Journal of the Islamic University College, the Journal of Science and Engineering Applications, and the Journal of Tahqiq Al-Manuscripts. The Islamic University will thus have six peer-reviewed scientific periodicals dedicated to disseminating knowledge gained from scientific research, funding investigators, and advancing the progress wheel.
