The students of the English Language Department at the Faculty of Education, in cooperation with the Husseini Youth Authority at the Islamic University in Najaf, held a ceremony to get acquainted with each other in conjunction with the fragrant birth of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him). The ceremony was attended by a number of faculty teachers and a group of male and female students. The ceremony included a reading of the Holy Qur’an, poetic verses, and chants singing of love for Ali (peace be upon him).
