Under the supervision of the Religious and Educational Guidance Unit, the Islamic University of Najaf held the Handicrafts Bazaar on January 24th. His Eminence Sayyed Sadr al-Din al-Qabbanji, the founder of the Islamic University, was present at the opening along with the university president’s assistants, including assistants and college deans. They all took part in exploring the bazaar and its hallways. Several more events took place during the celebration, the most noteworthy of which was the singing group from the Islamic University performing a special song called “The Victorious Lion of God, Ali bin Abi Talib” for the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
The bazaar’s supervisor, Mrs. Hasnaa Al-Qabbanji, on her part, clarified that the festival, the bazaar, and other related events aligned with the Islamic University’s goals of reviving the events of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), embracing the creativity of both male and female students, and supporting their artistic endeavours.
