A large audience of students from the Islamic University gathered to view the international film “Our Lady of Paradise.” This cinematic gem tells the story of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his blessed migration from Mecca to Medina, his leadership in renowned battles, and his sincere prayers for his companions. Furthermore, the film discusses the marriage of Mrs. Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and the Pledge of Allegiance to Al-Ghadeer. In addition to discussing the Prophet’s illness, the film discusses Lady Al-Zahra’s pain and suffering, including a broken rib, seizure of her land, and martyrdom. This film weaves together stories of The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) or Al-Hashd al-Shaabi, the struggle against the forces of evil and darkness, the ISIS gangs, and the events of the conflict between early Islam and the modern era.
