The Islamic University’s Centre for Continuing Education, in collaboration with the Holy Qur’an Division and the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Department of Qur’anic and Linguistic Studies—First Academic Year, hosted a development symposium titled Development and Self-Education on Sunday, the seventh of this month, in the presence of 25 people. There are both male and female students.
Dr. Haider Al-Moussawi, Director of the Centre for Continuing Education, confirmed that “we at the Centre for Continuing Education are working with exceptional efforts in implementing the university’s plan to spread our development activities and events across all departments and colleges.” These courses will include all students as well as administrative and teaching staff in order to build skills and provide opportunities for everyone.”
According to Al-Asam, the lecture covered the definition of self-education, ways to improve it, and the necessary skills and behaviors for students in their initial stage to succeed in both university and society.
It is worth noting that the university’s Continuing Education Centre staff is working hard to provide workshops and lectures for administrative and teaching staff in the colleges, and they will continue to attend and participate in internal and external seminars and workshops. (HTH)
