The President of the Islamic University, Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, received this morning, Tuesday, June 6, the Director of Civil Defence in Najaf, Brigadier General Muhammad Jassem Al-Shammari, Colonel Rabah Saeed Jafat, Director of the Fire and Safety Department, and Mr. Ali Twij, the media official of the Civil Defence, and his accompanying delegation, on an inspection visit to the Islamic University.
Both parties discussed ways of working together to train university employees on how to deal with fires and how to control fires quickly and effectively.
After that, the University’s President led the delegation on an inspection tour of the university’s corridors, classrooms, and fire extinguishers.
The Director of Civil Defence, Brigadier General Muhammad Jassim Al-Shammari, thanked the President of the Islamic University for his hospitality and reception at the end of the visit. (HTH)
