An academic delegation from the University of Tehran, which included the president of the Alborz Complex in Tehran and his assistant for international affairs, the assistant to the president of the University of Tehran, the president of the university’s Science City, and the advisor to the president of the University, was received by Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, the president of the Islamic University of Najaf, and Prof. Hadi Al-Tamimi, the dean of the faculty of Islamic sciences.
During the meeting, the two universities signed an agreement on scientific and knowledge cooperation in academic, administrative, technical, and sporting fields.
Dr. Ammar Al-Salami presented the shield of the Islamic University to the President of the University of Tehran at the end of the meeting. Dr. Al-Salami then accompanied the delegation on a tour of the university. (HTH)
