On Saturday morning, May 6, 2023, the Holy Qur’an Division at the Islamic University of Najaf held the closing ceremony to honor the readers who participated in the Ramadan Qur’anic conclusion, which was held in cooperation with the Holy Qur’an House at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
The ceremony was opened with a fragrant recitation from Quran by the reciter Abd al-Sahib Abd Ali, followed by the speech of the Director of the Holy Qur’an Division, Mr. Mohsen Rasool al-Saffar, in which he thanked God Almighty for his success in conducting this blessed conclusion, which was marked this year by the great interaction of the students, in addition to the establishment of a Qur’anic conclusion for female students.
In the ceremony, the door was opened for dialogue to discuss the most important issues for the development of Quranic work at the university.
In conclusion, the director of the Holy Qur’an Division honored the participating readers with in-kind gifts, thanking them for their blessed efforts in making this Qur’anic work a success and expressing his appreciation and thanks to the Holy Qur’an House in Imam Hussein Holy Shrine for their cooperation and serious efforts to spread Qur’anic culture among Iraqi university students.
