A delegation from the Islamic University in Najaf participated in the central closing ceremony held by the House of the Noble Qur’an at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine to honor the readers who participated in the Ramadan Qur’anic conclusion within the program of the Qur’anic project in Iraqi universities and institutes on Monday, corresponding to May 1, 2023, in the presence of several heads and representatives of participating universities.
The Islamic University in Najaf was represented by Muhsin Rasoul Al-Saffar, Director of the Holy Quran Division.
The ceremony began with a fragrant recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the speech of the Academic Education Centre at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, delivered by Mr. Alaa Al-Husseini. This was followed by a speech by the Iraqi universities and institutes, delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the University of Babylon, Dr. Hassan Al-Mamouri.
In recognition of the efforts made to make the project a success, the House of the Noble Qur’an at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine presented a shield to Islamic University and the participating universities in appreciation of the efforts made, asking God Almighty to grant everyone success in serving the Holy Qur’an.
