In collaboration with the Risalat al-Nour Cultural Foundation, the Islamic University, and its gardens they hosted the intellectual challenge competition between Najaf’s universities. The event was attended by the Islamic University’s president, Dr. Ammar al-Salami, as well as a number of professors, religious leaders, and other notable individuals from the community.
A number of public and private universities in Najaf participated in the competition, which covered a variety of cultural, scientific, religious, and sports topics.
Students competed in groups, then qualified for the finals.
The university president, on his part, lauded the significance of this competition among universities as well as how it has inspired students to learn more about a variety of subjects. (HTH)
