A delegation of students from the Faculty of Law and the Husseini Youth Authority at the university visited children with cancer diseases at the National Hospital for Oncology and Hematology in Najaf under the direction of Dr. Salim Abdul Karim, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the Islamic University in Najaf. The management of the National Hospital and its staff welcomed the delegation and escorted them through the hospital’s grounds as they visited its offices and halls.
The visit aimed to identify the medical conditions of children with various cancerous diseases, and to instill a spirit of hope and healing in them, amidst a welcome from the patients’ families and the medical staff at the center.
The delegation presented a group of gifts and games to the children, and they also took memorial photos.
This visit is a continuation of the Islamic University’s previous trips to clinics and hospitals, which were made to promote the university’s humanitarian work in addition to its academic mission.
