In an exciting match in the closed sports hall at the Islamic University, on the afternoon of Saturday, March 18, 2023, the Islamic University team won 2-0 over the Kufa University team in the framework of the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship, whose qualifiers are hosted by the closed sports hall, in which 45 teams from Iraqi private and governmental universities and colleges participated.
The President of the Islamic University, Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, who attended the match, congratulated the Islamic University team and wished the team and players more brilliance after their qualification for the quarterfinals.
A large crowd of Islamic University fans attended the match and cheered non-stop for their team, whose stunning performance won the approval of everyone present.
