The Officer of Student Activities Department at the Islamic University, Dr. Jabbar Rahima Al-Kaabi, said that the university will participate in organizing and hosting the competitions of the Iraqi universities with a volleyball tournament for students with the participation of 44 universities and a civil and government college for the period from March 13–22.
Al-Kaabi explained, “The technical conference for the championship will be held this afternoon at the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, while the tournament competitions will start with the double projection system tomorrow, Tuesday, provided that four matches will be held daily in the capital. The halls and stadiums of the Islamic University and the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, in addition to the hall of the Technical Institute in Kufa affiliated to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.” (HTH)
