The Faculty of Education at the Islamic University of Najaf and its counterpart at the University of Kufa signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen the scientific process and develop curriculum, research, and experiments. In signing the agreement, both parties committed to scientific and academic openness shared between their faculties and those of other universities.
Professor Dr. Nazim Al-Salami, Dean of the Faculty of Education at the Islamic University, and Professor Dr. Hassan Al-Fayyad, Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Kufa, both signed the agreement.
Dr. Zaid Al-Okaishi, Director of Relations at the University, explained that the “agreement” dealt with twinning between the two colleges, the development of a plan to harmonize curricula and vocabulary, and the formation of committees for joint scientific conferences, workshops, seminars, and the exchange of visits by teachers and students, as well as publications, in addition to participating in scientific journals with sober capabilities, especially between the departments of Islamic education in their faculties.
