The President of the Islamic University, Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, participated in the inauguration of a number of projects at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, in the presence and sponsorship of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and the President of the Al-Furat Al-Awsat University, Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Zuhairi, and a number of university presidents and university leaders.
During the opening activities, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research stressed the importance of developing the institutional environment, achieving the level of service responsible for achieving the goals of the university and its academic programs, and developing its human resources in line with the university’s goals and the requirements for improving the quality of the university and the educational process.
In order to provide students with quality educational services, he suggested taking into account the quality indicators associated with university environments, including buildings, laboratories, training laboratories, workshops, libraries, green spaces, and student activities spaces. In light of the goals of higher education and scientific research, influential elements should be provided that interact and respond to evolving needs and requirements. (HTH)
