In the morning of Wednesday, December 7, 2020, the Islamic University of Najaf’s Holy Qur’an Division held a competition in recitation of the Qur’an for female students at the Department of Radiology at the Faculty of Medical Technologies, attended by the Assistant Dean, Dr. Rahman Zabiba, the head of the radiology department, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zawamli, and His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Abdul-Amir Jabr Suhail, and a number of male and female teachers.
Ten students participated in the university’s Quranic competition in the recitation section in the university praying hall, and the results are as follows:
First place: Batool Razzaq Hussein.
Second place: Zahra Rahim Issa.
Third place: Soukayna Jaber.
Arbitration committee members were:
– Mr. Muhsin Rasool Al-Saffar, on the Rules of Intonation.
– Mr. Ghazwan Salim Hameed, on the rule of sound and melody.
By the end of the competition, the Associate Dean honored the jury and first winners, and the Head of the Department honored the participants, asking God Almighty to enable everyone to serve the Holy Quran. (HTH)
