In cooperation with the Division of the Holy Qur’an at the Islamic University of Najaf, the House of the Noble Qur’an at the Imam Hussein holy shrine held a Qur’anic symposium on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 titled “The Blog of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, in the Sciences of the Qur’an”.

The symposium began with verses from the Holy Qur’an recited by Abdul Sahib Abdul Ali. Afterwards, Dr. Mortada Jamal Al-Din, the assistant director of the House of the Noble Qur’an, spoke about some of the books on Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and how their companions were able to contribute to the reading of the glorious Qur’an and who were not treated fairly by history, such as Kamil bin Ziyad, Maytham Al-Tamar, and others (God bless them).

Mr. Mohsen Al-Saffar, the official of the university’s Holy Qur’an Division, chaired the symposium, which was attended by a delegation from the Holy Hussain Shrine, professors and students of the university, and an honorable audience, all of whom contributed to the rich discussion that took place.

Following the symposium in the Holy Qur’an Division Hall of the university Hall, Imam Hussein holy shrine honored the university presidency, as well as the Holy Qur’an Division within it. The delegation praised the distinguished attendance at the symposium and the efforts of the Holy Quran Division and its good hosting and organization, wishing the university presidency and its affiliates continued success.
