On Wednesday, the 3rd of November 2022, the Islamic University of Najaf received the students of the Al-Rayaheen Institute for Hearing Rehabilitation for Cochlear and Speech Implants in the Special Needs House of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, in a recreational trip prepared by the Community Service Division at the university, and they were received by the president of the university, Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, deans of faculties, and directors of departments.
During the trip, deans and department directors gave tours of the various faculties and departments. Following that, the students enjoyed recreational tours of the campus gardens and playgrounds. On the occasion of the birth of Aqeela Zainab, daughter of Imam Ali (peace be upon them both), the professors and students of the departments distributed sweets to the students of the institute. In conclusion, the recreational trip ended with a banquet at the university’s host facility.
The Director of the Institute, Mrs. Adiba Fadel, thanked the Islamic University presidency for its humanitarian initiatives and adoption of programs that help students with special needs integrate into their society and remove injustice from them at the end of the tour. (HTH)
