University’s Holy Quran Division concludes the first course in memorizing the Holy Quran for Dentistry students

The Division of the Holy Qur’an at the Islamic University in Najaf held the first Qur’anic course in memorising the Holy Qur’an for students of the Faculty of Dentistry, under the supervision of Al-Hafiz Nour Ali Rahim, one of the college’s students who was accepted as part of the free scholarship for memorising the Qur’an, which concluded its proceedings today, Monday, November 28, 2022.
The head of the department, Mr. Mohsen Al-Saffar, indicated that “more than seventeen students” joined this course, which lasted for a month. At the closing ceremony that was held in the college hall, the first memorising students were honoured by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Abbas Al-Aboudi, and an official of the Holy Quran Division. It is worth mentioning that the university has granted, for the third year in a row, more than 22 male and female students in various specializations free scholarships for memorizers of the Holy Qur’an, asking God Almighty to help everyone serve the Holy Qur’an. (HTH)
