Islamic University of Najaf delegation members included instructor Dr. Abdul-Amir Jabr Al-Basri and Director of the university’s Holy Qur’an Division, Mr. Mohsen Rasoul Al-Saffar participated in the first Quranic forum for Iraqi university professors, organized by the House of the Noble Qur’an at the Hussainiya Holy Shrine, where over forty university professors from twenty-four Iraqi universities participated. Two days of open dialogue sessions were held during the forum, in which the delegation discussed the nature of Quranic work in universities, the problems faced in spreading Quranic culture among students, and the solutions to these problems, as well as attending religious lectures held by the forum’s organizers. In addition, the delegation met with Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, the legal guardian of the Husseiniya holy shrine, who emphasized the importance of knowing the sciences of the Noble Qur’an for all disciplines.
Through the open dialogue sessions, several significant recommendations were formulated into actions that can be put into action through joint efforts and continuous cooperation, wishing everyone success in serving the Holy Qur’an. (HTH)
