The five-a-side football competitions of the colleges and departments of the Islamic University of Najaf were concluded yesterday under the patronage of its President, Dr. Ammar Abdul-Amir Al-Salami. After defeating the English Language Department team 3-2, the Physical Education Department won the championship. Nazem Al-Salami, dean of the Faculty of Education, and his assistant, Jabbar Rahima, awarded gold and silver medals to the first and second place winning teams. (HTH)
