THE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES THE 15TH BATCH GRADUATION (FUTURE LEADERS)

The Islamic University of Najaf held a celebration for its graduate students on Saturday evening, October 22, 2022. Hajja al-Islam Sayyed Sadr al-Din al-Qabbanji, the founder of the university, was present at the celebration as was the university president, Dr. Ammar Abdul-Amir al-Salami; Muhammad Baqir Fakhr al-Din, the president of Jaber Ibn Hayyan Medical University; and guests from other universities and colleges attended.
The graduation ceremony of the “Future Leaders” batch began with a review by the college graduate students, then verses from the Holy Qur’an were recited, Surat Al-Fatihah was recited for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, the Republican Peace, and the speech of the founder of the university, Sayyed Sadr Al-Din Al-Qabbanji, which was initiated by thanking God Almighty for His blessings and for the achievement of this scientific edifice in Najaf, and also thanks and appreciation to the president of the university and the professors for their best efforts to obtain the highest academic degrees for students, asking the Almighty to guide them first to his satisfaction, and secondly to face the challenges of life.
Afterwards, Dr. Ammar Abdul-Amir Al-Salami, President of the University, congratulated the students and their honorable families for obtaining a bachelor’s degree, as well as praising the deans of the faculties and the professors for the work they had done to enable the university to obtain the first scientific centers among private universities in Iraq and in the region, and from scientific bodies known for their international rigor.
Having concluded his speech, Dr. Al-Salami wished the graduates success and payment and the achievement of the highest scientific and professional ranks, thanking the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the celebration, Dr. Jabbar Rahima, and Department of Relations and Media.
Afterwards, the founder, the president of the university, and the guests of the ceremony awarded scientific certificates to graduate students, and then certificates of appreciation were distributed to the top three faculty members at the university.
It is noteworthy that the number of students graduating from the faculties of the university for the academic year 2021-2022 amounted to (1119) male and female students, making the total number of graduates since the university was established in 2003 (14381) male and female students. (HTH)
