With its two branches, the Islamic University ranked first among private universities and colleges in Iraq, and it was the only one that competed with public universities by participating in the QS Ranking of Arab and International Universities 2023, which was announced on October 19, 2022 in Dubai. This ranking is determined by factors such as academic reputation (30%), employer reputation (20%), faculty/student ratio (15%), international search network (10%), web influence (5%), and employee ratio, citations per published paper (5%), published papers per faculty (5%), international faculty (2.5%), and international students (2.5%).
Islamic University’s entry into this classification is a substantive step in the university’s development and progress, not only locally, but internationally as well, as this classification is among the strongest in the world.
