Saif Osama, an engineer from the Islamic University of Najaf’s media department, obtained the International Arbitration Certificate while participating in the thirteenth Arab Open Robot Championship, which was held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from July 1 to 4.
Saif Osama is the first Iraqi referee to take part in the competition’s arbitration, which had more than (1600 competitors from 12 Arab nations).
In the competition, a team from Najaf Al-Ashraf defeated other Arab teams to take first place in the ball-collection task using robots. The Emirati team came in second, and the Libyan team came in third.
The names of the champions from the Najaf Governorate who participated in this tournament are:

– Maryam Firas Nizar.
– Muhammad Firas Nizar.
– Secret Abazar.
– Tayseer Abazar.
– Jafar Maher.
On this occasion, the members of the Media Department at the Islamic University congratulate the team members from the sons of Najaf for winning the championship cup, and the engineer, Saif Osama, for obtaining the international arbitration certificate.
Iraqi Airways, in turn, congratulated the Iraqi team from Najaf for winning the championship.
