Engineering Syndicate Delegation Visits Islamic University to see Modern Foundations and enhance Bilateral Relations to serve Engineers

A delegation from the Engineers Syndicate/General Center visited the Islamic University of Najaf on Saturday, June 4, 2022, and met with Dr. Ali Al-Adhari, Dean of the College of Engineering, and his assistant, Dr. Muhammad Reda Badkobi.

Dr. Al-Adhari welcomed the delegation at the beginning of the meeting, praising the Engineers Syndicate’s role in elevating the engineering profession and its organization, and emphasizing the importance of strengthening the bilateral relationship between the university and the union in order to advance the scientific level of all engineers and develop their technical, scientific, and technical capabilities.

The delegation then toured the Faculty with the Dean and his assistant to examine the classrooms, contemporary laboratories, and examination halls for all engineering departments. They also looked at the university’s supplementary annexes, which include a central library, a prayer hall, sports fields, and a student club.

Dr. Ali Al-Adhari, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his gratitude for the visit and the union’s role in engineers’ lives after graduation, while the union delegation expressed admiration for the university’s remarkable progress across all fields.

According to reports, the Islamic University is the first private university and college in Iraq to be accredited by the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate.
