On Wednesday morning, June 1, 2022, the activities of the first national Quranic competition for female students of Iraqi universities in the memorization and recitation of the entire Holy Quran were opened at the Islamic University of Najaf. The opening of this competition coincides with the auspicious birth of Lady Fatima Al-Masoomah (peace be upon her). 15 Iraqi universities from different governorates of our beloved Iraq participate in the activities of this competition, which is the first of its kind at the level of Iraqi universities. More than 40 students are competing for their prizes in their various paragraphs. A jury composed of female professors at Dar Al-Quran – Imam Hussainiya Holy Shrine will participate in the jury, as the first three students will be qualified to compete for the first places for all the paragraphs in the final stage of the competition
