On Wednesday, Rajab 14-1443, the delegation from the University of Religions and Sects in the city of Qom in the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Mahdi Al-Taskhiri, the vice president of the university for international relations, met with the president of the Islamic University, Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, his scientific assistant, and a number of college deans to discuss potential for scientific cooperation.
The Islamic University’s president provided a thorough description of the institution’s founding, objectives, and growth. For their part, Dr. Al-Taskhiri, the delegation’s leader, and the other members spoke about what it’s like to attend classes at the University of Religions and Denominations, and they expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit Najaf and the Islamic University.
The two parties then performed the prayer in the mosque of the university under the leadership of the university’s founder, His Eminence, Sayyid Sadr Al-Din Al-Qabbanji, who welcomed the delegation and thanked them for visiting the city of Najaf and contacting the university.
At the end of the meeting, the university president accompanied the delegation on a tour of the facilities, laboratories, and modern halls.
