In honor of the birth of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), the Presidency staff of the Islamic University of Najaf celebrated to express their love for their Imam (peace be upon him), the Noble Messenger, and his infallible family (may God’s peace be upon them all).
Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, the president of the Islamic University, emphasised to University Media that “celebrating the anniversary of the fortunate birth of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) is a rebirth of his fragrant biography and its implementation in behaviour and action”. He emphasized the value of keeping in mind the lessons and insights from the life of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
The university president’s assistants, faculty deans, and staff members from all departments participated in the celebration.
The attendees listened to songs and poems that highlighted the importance of the fragrant memory of the birth of the guardian of the Messenger of God (PBUH) and his successor, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him).
