In the presence of His Eminence Sayyid Sadr Al-Din Al-Qabbanji, the founder of the University, the President of the Council, Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, and members of the Council, the Islamic University Council held its fourth monthly meeting for this year on Saturday.
One of the most important topics discussed is the Founder’s affirmation of the university’s Islamic identity by considering the academic year as the year for religious advancement among young people, and its response to malicious campaigns that attempt to separate young people from their religion, customs, and Islamic morality. Furthermore, all female students at the university must wear the Islamic headscarf within the campus as a commitment to the pledge they signed when they registered.
Additionally, it decided to revive all colleges for religious celebrations and to call for the revival of the mosque and prayer, so the Islamic University would be a beacon to follow.
Additionally, a ten-minute recitation of the Noble Qur’an was decided to be broadcast over the university’s loudspeakers every morning at eight o’clock, and to establish a channel to broadcast the Holy Qur’an supervised by the University’s Holy Qur’an Division.
The attendees also discussed the good acceptance rate at the university this year, which exceeded many other universities, and the necessity of meeting all the requirements necessary for the university’s educational process to succeed.
