Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, the Islamic University President, received the delegation of the Al-Zahra Women’s University from Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran, to discuss ways to expand the scope of joint cooperation, including an initial agreement to train (20) female graduate students in Arabic language proficiency at the Islamic University.
The Islamic University expressed its full readiness with regard to the participation of its students in international Quranic competitions and others, as well as the participation of the university faculties in Najaf in international competitions and conferences.
Likewise, the delegation’s head expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and cooperative effort. The delegation showed its pride by presenting the university with its University Award, and in exchange, Dr. Al-Salami presented the delegation with the Islamic University Award.
Dr. Hadi Al-Tamimi, Dean of Faculty of Islamic Sciences, led the delegation through the university’s faculties, and then presented Al-Zahra University with an Islamic College Journal and the Faculty Award.
