In celebration of the International Day of the Arabic Language on December 18, the Department of Quranic and Linguistic Studies at the Islamic University of Najaf held a virtual scientific symposium.
In this occasion, there were lectures by: Prof. Dr. Saeed Al-Zubaidi from the University of Nizwa in the Sultanate of Oman.
– and Prof. Dr. Nadi Al-Deek from Al-Quds Open University in Ramallah, Palestine.
The two speakers presented ground-breaking theories concerning the Arabic language, its universality, and the reasons why this venerable language was selected to be the only human language used in the Noble Qur’an. Professors from Iraq and other Arab and Islamic nations actively participated in the symposium, adding to the rich scientific conversation that pervaded it. (HTH)
