The Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies at the Faculty of Medical Technologies held a lecture entitled “Memory” for assistant teacher Baraa Aqeel, on the 11th of November 2021 in Hall No. (29).
The presenter concentrated on memory and the function of the brain in it, which allows for the encoding, storage, and subsequent retrieval of facts or information. For the goal of guiding future work, they store knowledge throughout time. As amnesia is typically referred to as forgetting or amnesia, it will be impossible to establish language, relationships, or a sense of personal identity if the past cannot be remembered. With a sensory processor, short-term (or working) memory, and long-term memory, memory is frequently viewed as an information processing system with explicit and implicit functions that can be correlated with neurons. An encoding and retrieval processor is working memory. Information is encoded as stimulus according to the explicit or implicit roles of the working memory processor. (HTH)
