The Department of English at the Islamic University of Najaf organised a workshop on how to write an academic research paper for undergraduate studies. The workshop was chaired by Lect. Abdullah Qassem and Eng. Ameer Ali.
Modern scientific research contributes to raising the efficiency of students at various levels of study and serves as a training ground for them to carry out research activities at university levels.
The process of writing scientific research requires a number of steps that must be followed in order for the research to be mature and complete. These stages are:
1- Choosing a research problem
2- Gathering and recording information
3- Completion of field, laboratory, and office work.
4- Making a plan for scientific research writing.
5- How to arrive at the selection of the research topic.
6- Writing the research (the research body).
7- Explain the concept of plagiarism and how to quote from external sources. (HTH)
