In cooperation with the Tajweed House for Teaching the Holy Qur’an in Najaf, and in the presence of the Head of the Noble Qur’an Unit at the Islamic University, Mr. Mohsen Rasoul al-Saffar, a ceremony was held on Friday morning, October 1, in the hall of the shrine of the great companion Safi Safa al-Yamani, may God Almighty be pleased with him, a ceremony granting permission to read and recite for a group of readers, female reciters, memorizers, and memorizers of the Holy Qur’an. By the favour and success of God, the memorizer (Maryam Ahmed Sadiq), a student of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the Islamic University, was granted a licence to read and recite with the recitation of Asim Al-Kufi Barawiyeh Hafs and Shu’bah through Al-Shatibiya by the reciter Dr. Muhammad Fahmy Asfour, professor of the ten readings at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the official reading of the Supreme Shura of the Holy Quran in Iran.
