The Journal of the Islamic University College succeeds in achieving the criteria for the accreditation of the impact factor (ARCIF) for refereed scientific journals for the year 2021 (category Q2), where Dr. Sami Al-Khazindar, head of the Impact Factor Initiative and Reference Citations for Arab Journals (ARCIF), sent an official letter to Dr. Ammar Al-Salami , President of the Islamic University of Najaf, with the success of the Journal of the Islamic University College, which is issued by the university, after achieving the criteria for accrediting the impact factor and reference citations that are compatible with international standards, which number (32 criteria).
The scientific teams of the (ARCIF) laboratories examined the academic content of the data of (5100) scientific and research journals issued in Arabic by twenty Arab countries as well as seventeen European and Asian countries, including Britain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Malaysia, Turkey, Pakistan, and India, and (877) scientific journals succeeded only by passing those criteria.
In his letter to Dr. Al-Salami, Prof. Dr. Al-Khazindar stated that the Journal of the Islamic University College was regulated in terms of impact factors because it achieved the scientific standards in the category of refereed scientific journals within Islamic studies (Q2). (HTH)
