The Faculty of Law and Political Science held a panel discussion entitled “The Role of the Central Bank in Combating Money Laundering” by Assistant Lecturer Muhammad Salman Shakir on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, in Hall (14) at the Islamic University of Najaf building.
The discussion focused on two main topics:
The first topic is the role of the Central Bank as a competent supervisory authority working with other authorities to address this phenomenon and to know the suspicious sources of funding.
The second topic is how the Central Bank combats money laundering through its Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Council. (HTH)
