Rights and Evidence in Islamic Judiciary

The Faculty of Law and Political Science held a panel discussion on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, entitled “Rights and Evidence in the Islamic Judiciary”, led by Assistant Lecturer Jamal Muhammad Hassan Abdul Rasoul.

The discussion focused on three main topics:

The first topic focuses on rights and freedoms before the Islamic judiciary, according to the Qur’an and Sunnah.

A second topic is the characteristics of the Islamic judge according to his task and the establishment of justice while realizing rights according to Islamic Sharia.

The third topic is clarification of the Islamic judicial system and the justice it provides, and how to apply provisions to the subjects in an impartial and equal manner before the judiciary. (HTH)
