In the holy city of Mashhad in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the proceedings of the eighth session of the International Scientific and Cultural Conference were held on the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. The Islamic University of Najaf, Iraq, the Foundation of the Companions of Al Hussein, peace be upon him, and a number of universities and institutions in Iran are participating in this course.
This year’s conference focused on the impact of the forty movement on the development of urbanization and Islamic civilization.
A number of scholars and thinkers from Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan participated in this year’s conference. Prof. Dr. Hadi Abdel Nabi Al-Tamimi, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences attended the conference, on behalf of the Islamic University, representing Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, President of the University.
Dr. Al-Tamimi participated in the conference with his research tagged: (The Civilizing Impact of the Arbaeen march of Imam Al-Hussein, peace be upon him, in unifying the Islamic ranks to reach the day of the emergence of the Qaim from the family of Muhammad (PBUH)).
