The Department of Radiological Technologies at the Faculty of Medical Technologies at the Islamic University of Najaf held a scientific symposium within the series of weekly seminars entitled: “Evaluation of the tissue efficiency of shrimp astaxanthin extract in the treatment of alloxan-induced diabetes in male white rats” on Sunday, June 27, 2021, by Dr. Mayada Bassem.
The seminar included the following topics:
1 – Definition of diabetes and its types.
2- How to induce type 1 diabetes by using alloxan.
3 – How to treat diabetes with astaxanthin. (HTH)
