The Islamic University holds a Quranic competition for memorising the Holy Quran

An Islamic University of Najaf Quranic competition for memorizing five parts of the Noble Qur’an was held on Monday morning, 27 Ramadan, the tenth of 2021, under the patronage of the President, Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Al-Salami. A total of 13 male and female students of the Islamic University participated, with the following results:
The first: Student Ali Asghar Shaheed from the College of Medical Technology.
The second: Muhammad Talib Mohsen from the College of Islamic Sciences.
Third: Alaa Abbas Mortada from the College of Medical Technology.
The jury consisted of:
Mr. Adel Al-Yasiri as a judge of the rules of intonation.
His Eminence Sheikh Abu Ali Al-Mansoori, judging the quality of memorization.
His Eminence Sheikh Mahdi Qalandar Al-Bayati as a judge for the endowment and the initiation.
Mr. Alaa Al-Sadiqi judged the voice and the melody.
A number of university professors attended the competition, including the President of the Islamic University and the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences. Gratitude to all the participants and contributors to the success of this competition, and to the master of ceremonies, dear brother and creative professor Zaid Madohi, who asked God Almighty to grant everyone success in the service of the Holy Qur’an.
