For the 2021 academic year, the Islamic University in Najaf was ranked in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. This classification is based on several factors, including energy, clean energy, health, justice, and strong institutions. Additionally, it is the university’s fourth classification, following Webometrics, RUR, and Green Metrics.
According to the classification, the most important factors are the extent to which the UN sustainable development goals are implemented, the learning environment, and the reputation of the academic institution.
The Islamic University also aims to contribute to the scientific, cultural, educational, and scientific research movements in Iraq on a quantitative and qualitative level. (HTH)
