The Islamic University received a ministerial committee responsible for developing the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The committee reviewed this department’s sports facility, classrooms, and laboratories, which will be ready to open for the 2020-2021 academic year.
The department accepts graduates of preparatory studies in all its branches, which include (biological, applied, scientific, literary, commerce, agriculture, and industry; the Teachers Preparation Institute (sports department only); the applied arts; vocational training centers; and computer and information technology.
